3. Return of goods

After submitting a withdrawal notice, the buyer must return the goods to the seller within the period prescribed by law.

The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date of notifying of the withdrawal, unless otherwise provided by law.

The returned goods must be preserved to the greatest extent possible and used only to the extent necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The buyer is liable for any diminished value of the goods if the goods were used in a way that exceeds what is necessary to check them.

4. Cosmetic products

Special rules apply to cosmetic products.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which, after opening, cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene.

In particular, this may apply to cosmetic products after their sealed packaging has been opened.

For example, if a shampoo, mask or other cosmetic product was delivered in sealed packaging and the buyer opened the packaging after receiving the goods, the right to withdraw from the contract in respect of such goods may not apply in accordance with the law.

If the goods have not been opened and there are no other statutory grounds for excluding the right of withdrawal, the consumer retains the right of withdrawal within the period prescribed by law.

5. Cost of return

The costs of returning the goods are borne by the buyer, unless otherwise provided by law or separately agreed with the seller.

The cost of the initial delivery of the goods to the buyer is refunded in cases provided for by law.

If the buyer chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery method, the seller is not obliged to refund the difference between the standard delivery and the more expensive delivery chosen by the buyer.

6. Refund

After receiving the withdrawal notice, the seller refunds the payments received from the buyer within the period prescribed by law, but no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal notice.

The refund includes the cost of standard delivery paid by the buyer when initially receiving the goods, if the refund of such amount is provided for by law.

The seller has the right to withhold the refund until the returned goods are received or until the buyer provides proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

The funds are refunded using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase, unless another method has been agreed with the buyer.

7. Defective goods

The right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days and the right to submit a claim due to a defect in the goods are different rights.

If the received goods have a defect or do not conform to the contract, the buyer may submit a claim to the seller regardless of the 14-day right of withdrawal.
